Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •\- Receiving care from one of the ID care providers, Abrona, Amarant and Ipse
- •\- 18 years and older
- •\- Diagnosed with mild (IQ\=50\-69\) or moderate (IQ\= 35\-49\) intellectual disability
- •\- Having the metabolic syndrome or diagnosed with at least 2 cardiovascular
- •risk factor i.e. diabetes mellitus type 2, hypertension, hypercholestelomia, or
- •\- Being ambulatory
- •\- Able to follow instructions
Exclusion Criteria
- •\- Not obtaining medical clearance by physician
- •\- Have physical limitations interfering with participation in the PRET
- •exercises, including neurological and orthopedic conditions.
