Badminton is one of the most popular sports in the world, with over 200 million players. It was originated in England and China and has become the national game of many countries. Badminton is a fast-paced racquet sport in which elite players strike the shuttlecock with incredible speed and precision. The overhead technique is considered the most important technique in badminton, which is further divided into three strokes drop, clear, and smashes. In the badminton game, Smashing is one of the offending and powerful stroke techniques used in badminton to defeat the opponent player. Upper limb explosive power is the functional capability to produce or transfer muscle strength or power through upper limbs, which plays an important part in athletic activities, especially in badminton. During the badminton stroke or smash, various upper limb movements in synergy play a crucial role in the game. Akbari M et al., found a positive correlation between arm muscle power and badminton smash skills. Pratama F, also did a correlation study of arm muscle explosive power towards smash of badminton players and found a significant relationship between the two. The muscle explosive power is the physical condition element, and the muscle should have the ability to receive the stress while working. Therefore, arm muscle explosive power needs to be trained to increase the smash performance in badminton. Ballistic Six training program, which comprises regularly utilized upper body movements, with rapid, strong motions to allow the strains to shorten. Some research on tennis players found that combining a training program with plyometric activities increased reaction time. As a result, plyometric exercise appears to be an effective way to improve neuromuscular ability to increase strength, stamina, plus response time. Recently, pointed out that the adding of Ballisitic Six plyometric training for novice badminton players would increase the shoulder strength, agility, speed and function than the theraband exercises.

  • Recreational players.
  • Playing experience of the game of minimum 1 year.
  • Participants to sign consent form.
  • Normal BMI.

排除标准

  • subject with less than 1 year of experience elite or professional badminton player.
  • subject not willing to participate subject how have undergoes knee replacement or ligament surgery of the ankle, spine, or hip within the past 6 month history of musculoskeletal disorder in the past 6 month musculoskeletal limb such as osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis individual with neurological impairments ,cardiovascular or respairtory diseases.
