Children enrolled in special education schools (or classes) due to developmental disabilities
- Children identified as capable of using social skills intervention software
- Children with an ASSQ (Autism Spectrum Screening Questionnaire) score of 14 or higher
- Children for whom there are no planned changes in the frequency or content of existing rehabilitation therapies (e.g., physical therapy, cognitive therapy, speech therapy) and medication treatments from the pre-test to the post-test during the study period
- Children whose legal guardians, themselves, and their special education teachers agree to participate in the study
Children with a history of congenital or acquired brain injury, such as cerebral palsy
Children who, according to experts or guardians, are expected to have significant developmental delays or behavioral regulation difficulties that would hinder their cooperation with activities and programs in the metaverse
Children currently participating in social skills enhancement programs at other institutions during the study period
Children who refuse to participate in the study
