- •Patients with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder receiving a second-generation antipsychotic drug
- •Obtaining informed consent from the patient and the patient's legal guardian

- •Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- •Patients with heart failure
- •Patients with kidney disease
- •Hypersensitivity to topiramate
