入选标准
- •1. Admitted for any elective non-cardiac surgery under general anesthesia with endotracheal intubation
排除标准
- •1. Patients with comorbid illnesses such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, ischemic heart disease
- •2. Patients on medications such as beta-blockers, calcium channel blockers and vasodilators
- •3. Patients with predicted difficulty in intubation, those who required more than one attempt at laryngoscopy and those in whom the duration of laryngoscopy exceeded 30 seconds
- •4. Patients having allergies to the drugs being administered during the course of the study, and those patients taking antacids and Cimetidine
