- •Children with age less than 5yrs and more than 16yrs
- •children with congenital anomalies
- •otomycosis or otitis externa
- •perforation of the ear drum
- •history of ear surgery
- •presence of cholesteatoma
- •nasopharyngeal mass leisons
- •immunodeficiency
- •cleft palate and other cranio-facial abnormalities
