Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\.ASA I/II Patient
  • •2\.Adults 18\-65 yr
  • •3\.Undergoing unilateral total hip arthroplasty through posterior approach

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Patient refusal
  • •2\.Known neuropathy
  • •3\.Pregnancy
  • •4\.Infection at the puncture site
  • •5\.Chronic analgesic intake
  • •6\.Altered coagulation parameters
  • •7\.Inability to communicate
  • •8\.Redo arthroplasty
  • •9\.Morbid obesity(BMI greater than or equal to 40\)
