Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Multigravida women admitted in Lady Goshcen hospital for safe confinement, who undergo normal vaginal delivery.
  • 2\. Single intra\-uterine gestation.
  • 3\. Women more than 18 years of age.
  • 4\. Women with at least 1 live born child
  • 5\. Women literate in kannada.
  • 6\. Women willing to bring their child to RAPCC hospital at 6 months.
  • 7\. Women with access to smart phone.
  • 8\. Neonates which are tern and AGA.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Women who exclusively breastfed their infants till 6 months in their previous pregnancies.
  • 2\. Women not willing to breastfeed or have contraindication to breastfeeding.
  • 3\. Women with post\-partum complications requiring ICU admissions.
  • 4\. Women who have already received education on essential new born care via flip\-charts or videos in previous pregnancies.
  • 5\. Neonates with gross congenital malformations.
  • 6\. Neonated requiring NICU admission.
