1. relevant palliative care treatment setting
2. all patients within a 12 month evaluation period
3. sufficient general condition for quantitative evaluation of test battery (and additional interview)
4. informed consent for study participation (and interview recording)

Description of self-efficiacy beliefs and locus of control of patients receiving palliative care from questionnaires and their subjective perception of loss of control from the interviews; Development, test and evaluation of an intervention pro feeling of control
Secondary Outcome Measures

Registering a statement concerning a feeling of loss of control, the patient will be included in an intevention (informed consent). The interventionw ill be analysed regarding feasibility and burden for the patient. A post conversation 2-4 days after the intervention, changes in emotions and cognition will be questioned.
