All antenatally diagnosed intra-uterine growth restricted neonates (based on ultrasonographically determined fetal weight below 10th percentile for gestational age) of gestational age 28 weeks or more born in AIIMS, Rishikesh during the study period will be eligible for inclusion.
1.Neonates born to mother with:
a.Hemodynamic instability
b.Placental previa/abruption
c.Postpartum hemorrhage
d.Multiple gestation
e.Rh- negative blood group.
2.Neonate requiring resuscitation
3.Major congenital malformation
4.Fetal Hydrops
5.Failure to give consent
