All participants: no momentary psychotropic medication, age between 18 and 60 years, wrtitten consent // Specific criteria for healthy controls: no psychiatric of neurological diseases // specific criteria for persons with HFA/Asperger-Syndrom: F84.5 diagnosis (Asperger-Syndrom) according to ICD-10, no neurological or psychiatric co-morbidities
Minors or persons older than 60 years, momentary or previous diagnosis of psychiatric or neurological disease other than F84.5 according to ICD-10 (Asperger-Syndrom), acute suicidal tendency, self- or other endangering behavior, lack of written consent or any knd of momentary or permanent legal incompetency

Name Time Method The goal of the study is elucidating systematical effects of picture categories on visual saliency. This will enhance our understanding of attentional processes in highfunctioning autism.
