- •First consultation in one of the four participating pediatric gastroenterology outpatient clinics during the study period due to (functional) abdominal pain,
- •age-appropriate German language and reading comprehension of the child / adolescent and parent(s) to answer the surveys, written consent of the child / adolescent and parent(s) to participate in the study
