Brief Summary

Many disease are emerging as a trend of lifestlye modifications due to stress sedentary lifestyle  and food habits  one among them is obesity (athithoolam) the symptoms of Athithoolam are weight gain increased  abdominal grith etc it may be correlated  with obesity in modern science

It is abnormal accumulation of body fat usually 20% or more over an individuals body weight . It is associated  with increased risk  of illness disability  India is  the  third most obese country in the world  not surprisingly the prevelance of obesity appears to be higher from 16 to 29 % over the last five years

siddhars mentioned many formulation in treating athithoolam among them MANTHARAIVER KUDINEER mentioned  in  gunapadam mooligai vaguppu indicated for obesity  so   i selected this medicine for obesity (Athithoolam)

Inclusion Criteria

Age 18-60, Lipid profile above the normal BMI- above the normal level.

Exclusion Criteria

chronic kidney disease pregnancy presence of any serious illness.
