Inclusion Criteria
- •Patients who receive lumbar or thoracic spine surgery under general anesthesia with ASA (American Society of Anesthesiologists) physical class I-III, aged 20-80 years.
- •Patients with modified Mallampati class III or higher in pre-anesthesia airway evaluation.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patients who do not agree with the study
- •Patients with a history of gastroesophageal reflux
- •Patients who has not fasted
- •Patients with congenital or acquired upper respiratory lesions
- •(Ex. tumor, polyp, trauma, abscess, inflammation, foreign body, etc.)
- •Patients with a history of airway-related surgery, radiation therapy
- •Patients with increased risk of airway aspiration or coagulopathy
- •patients who have severely weak teeth
