Patients belonging to American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status grade I and II aged between 18 to 60 years scheduled to undergo
laparoscopic abdominal surgeries of maximum 3 hours duration under Total Intravenous Anaesthesia.
1.Patient refusal
2.History of psychiatric illness and hearing impairment.
3.History of opioid and alcohol addiction
4.If patient is not extubated and is shifted being intubated.
5.Preoperative hypotension (Mean arterial blood pressure < 50 mmHg), preoperative bradycardia (Heart rate < 45 beats/min) and preoperative dysrhythmia.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method To compare recovery profile postoperatively in both the groups using Richmond Agitation Sedation score (RASS).Timepoint: Assessed every 10 minutes postoperatively till 30 minutes
- Secondary Outcome Measures
