Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Age greater than or equal to 40\.
- •2\. Diagnosed to have COPD graded according to Global Initiative for Obstructive Lung Disease (GOLD) as mild to very severe.
- •3\. Receiving ongoing COPD medications.
- •4\. Patient with or without smoking history.
- •5\. Competent enough to consider informed consent.
- •6\. All patients who are interested in quitting smoking.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Patients with history of asthma, allergic rhinitis, lung operation, or other respiratory disease.
- •2\. Patients with history of serious concomitant diseases such as heart failure, liver, or renal failure.
- •3\. Severe mobility problems or terminal illness.
- •4\. Mental disability.
- •5\. Active alcohol or drug abuse.
- •6\. Inability to understand the program.
- •7\. Inability of informal care at home.
- •8\. Unavailability of telephone system at home
