Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\.The 40\-year or older male who was diagnosed of COPD by internist or pulmonologist.
  • 2\.The patients who give the informed consent and agree to follow to the study protocol.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Underlying disease or history of these illnesses such as,
  • 1\.1End stage renal disease which defined as creatinine clearance less than 15 ml/min/1\.73 m2
  • 1\.2Cirrhosis
  • 1\.3History of active malignancy or recent chemotherapeutic medication within 5 years
  • 1\.4Chronic anemia such as thalassemia who needed regular blood transfusion or finding of hemochromatosis
  • 1\.5Active rheumatoid arthritis
  • 1\.6Poor control of type 2 diabetes who have HbA1c \> 8 %
  • 1\.7Severe morbid obesity which defined as ≥ 30 kg/m2
  • 1\.8Acute myocardial infarction or chest pain or dyspnea within 1 year
  • 2\.Diagnosed of hypogonadism before the inclusion period
