Inclusion Criteria
ASA grade 1 and 2
Mouth opening of at least 3cm
Thyroid patients (WHO goiter grade 2)
Body mass index 17.5 -29kg/m²
Exclusion Criteria
Patients with pregnancy, known alcoholic or drug abusers.
Patients belonging to American Society of Anaesthesiologists grade III and above.
Patients with bradycardia (baseline HR <60 beats/min), any type of atrioventricular block, heart failure, having significant neurological, hepatic, renal and pulmonary diseases
Patients undergoing emergency surgeries
Mouth opening < 2cm.
