Inclusion Criteria

gestational age of 32-37 weeks; body weight of neonate at the time of recruitment greater than 1500 grams; don’t consumption of drugs that effect on the sleep and waking cycle of neonate; don’t have illnesses for example: congenital brain malformations, meningitis, seizures, congenital abnormalities, intra ventricular hemorrhage grade III and IV, sepsis? do not substance abusing mother.
Exclusion criteria: the mothers refusing from continuance of the study ? if the neonates have apnea ? if arterial O2 saturation less than %88

Primary Outcome Measures

Sleep and waking status of preterm neonate. Timepoint: During 20 minutes before the intervention, 70 minutes during intervention and 20 minutes after the intervention. Method of measurement: Observation the behavior of neonate with use of sleep and waking scale of Als, by researcher.
