- •1. Aged >=18 years,
- •2. A clinical diagnosis of acute stroke (i.e. with a persistent neurological deficit on presentation)
- •3. Neurological deficit on presentation.
- •4. Present in the stroke unit during periods of data collection.
排除标准
- •1. Planned immediate transfer from the Emergency Department (ED)
- •2. Transient ischaemic attack (TIA) or those admitted only for investigation
- •3. Consent could not be obtained
- •4. Unable to follow the patient up according to the protocol
