Inclusion Criteria
Age greater than 18 years
Grade 2-3 facial acne vulgaris at department of dermatology at tertiary care hospital, who are willing to give informed written consent to participate in study
Exclusion Criteria
History of photosensitivity
History of taking photosensitizing drug
Pregnancy
Within 1 year post-partum
Unable to follow up for IPL sessions

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Mean percentage reduction in global acne grading scale (GAGS), absolute lesion count of inflammatory papule and pustules will be calculated and compared on both sides of face i.e. side which is treated with IPL 530nm with topical Tretinoin 0.025% cream and other side which is treated with topical Tretinoin 0.025% cream alone.Timepoint: Outcome will be assessed at each session i.e. at baseline, 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, 4 months.
