Inclusion Criteria
The search focused on arthrodesis of the foot and ankle (0811), excision and repair of bunions and other toe deformities (0775), total ankle replacement (8156), and replacement of the joints of the foot and toes (8157).
Exclusion Criteria
Underwent revision surgery
Had foot and/or ankle fractures
Underwent day case surgery
Admitted for less than 24 hours or to an intensive care unit
Had incomplete medical records
