Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Patient willing to give consent and participate in the study
  • •2\.All patients presenting with upper lumbar disc herniation on MRI and low back pain and/or radiculopathy.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Patient not fulfilling inclusion criteria
  • •Patient not willing to participate in the study or not willing to sign the consent form
  • •Presence of associated pathology such as infection, or malignancy
  • •History of Upper lumbar spine surgery (1st three disc space below the conus medullaris).
