This study is a randomized controlled trial conducted at a tertiary care center in Western Rajasthan to evaluate the efficacy of autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP) in healing of post-caesarean surgical wounds as compared to conventional standard of care. Eligible post-LSCS women with wound gap (length 3–10 cm, width 1–3 cm, depth 1.5–3 cm, and REEDA score >6) on postoperative Day 7 were randomized into two groups. The intervention group received topical application of autologous PRP, while the control group received standard dressing. Wound healing was assessed using clinical parameters, REEDA score, and VAS score on Day 7 and Day 14. The study aims to compare the effectiveness of PRP in improving wound healing outcomes in post-caesarean patients.This is an academic, investigator-initiated study conducted at Umaid Hospital, Jodhpur as part of a postgraduate thesis project. All ethical guidelines were followed. Trial was initiated only after IEC approval.

入选标准
- •Postpartum women with wound gap seven days after cesarean delivery that is after stitch removal.
- •Wound gap Length 3 to 10cm Width 1 to 3 cm Depth 1.5 to 3 cms
- •REEDA Score more than 6.
排除标准
- •criteria:-
- •Pt with unhealthy wound ( wound with infection or sloughing )
- •Pt with thrombocytopenia.
- •Morbidly obese BMI more than 35.
