Inclusion Criteria

Patient between age group of 40-60 years will be included in the study.Those patients having complete set of dentition (except third molars) and give history of bruxism for a duration of more than a year, and complaining of orofacial pain, which on clinical examination will reveal severe attrition leading to reduced vertical height will be included in the study group. Control group will be formed by the patients with complete set of dentition (except third molar) with no complaint of orofacial pain, no history of bruxism, no evidence of attrition or reduced vertical height will be included in control group.

Exclusion Criteria

-Patients who will give history of surgery, fracture, congenital anomalies of Temporomandibular joint, history of trauma from occlusion, any systemic disease affecting the bones, history of consumption of medications affecting the bone, presence of pathologic lesions of jaws, and patients giving history of adverse habits like betel nut or kharra chewing and patients with developmental tooth anamolies will be excluded from the study.
