1. Adults 18years and above.
2. Each subject having a minimum of 20 teeth with intact periodontium excluding third molars
3. Patients who are willing to participate in the study and give informed consent to do so.
1. Subjects without co morbidities. (Hypertension, Diabetes)
2. Subjects with habits and conditions that cause reduced saliva.
3. Subjects wearing orthodontic or prosthetic appliances.
4. Subjects with crowding.
5. Subjects currently on antimicrobials or analgesics.
6. Subjects who reported tobacco use in any form.
7. Subjects with mouth breathing and occlusal parafunction.
8. Subjects who are unwilling to participate in the study.
