All groups:
-Age 18-50 years
Control Group:
-No current or previous symptoms of knee pain in patellar tendon or its insertion
-VISA score > 80
Symptomatic group:
-Current symptoms of knee pain in patellar tendon or its patellar or tibial insertion in connection with training and competition, in one knee.
-Symptoms for over three months to exclude acute inflammatory tendon problems and de novo partial ruptures.
-VISA score < 80
Previous symptoms group:
-Previous symptoms of knee pain in patellar tendon or its patellar or tibial insertion in connection with training and competition, in one knee.
-No symptoms at present.
-Symptoms lasted for over three months (to exclude acute inflammatory tendon problems and de novo partial ruptures).
-VISA score > 80
- Neurologic or neuromuscular disorder
- Other lower extremity injury or disease that might interfere with the measurements
