简要总结

The sample size for the study is 104 individuals out of which 52 are present in test and control groups each. Test group consists of stage three periodontitis patient and control group consists of periodontally healthy individuals. Plaque index, Gingival index, Modified sulcus bleeding index, Probing pocket depth, Clinical Attachment Level, Neutrophil to Lymphocyte ratio and Platelet to Lymphocyte ratio will be evaluated at baseline for both the groups and after 10 weeks for test group.

入选标准

•Minimum of 20 teeth to be present in every patient and minimum 4 teeth present in each quadrant Cases of stage three periodontitis CAL greater than or equal to 5mm and PPD greater than or equal to 6mm.

排除标准

•Patients suffering from known systemic diseases and known allergy Pregnant, lactating and menopause female patients Patients with habit of any form of tobacco Patients who have received any antibiotic and or anti-inflammatory drug therapy during past 3 months Patients who received surgical or nonsurgical periodontal therapy in last 6 months Patients with autoimmune diseases Patients with any systemic/ hematologic disorder Patients with history of fever in last 1 month.
