To compare two materials which are indirect composite and metal ceramic which are used in bridges for patients who have at least one missing teeth in the upper and lower jaws.

Patients who have at least one missing posterior tooth with the presence of a distal most tooth; either side of the same arch.
Patients indicated for fixed dental prosthesis.
Patients having canine guided occlusion or mutually protected occlusion.
Patient with normal biting habits and no parafunctional habits.
Individuals who have all posterior teeth present.
Any restoration crossing the midline of a single arch.
Any restoration opposing a missing space which is not rehabilitated.
Implants being used as means of a restoration were not considered.
