- •1. Patients with an acute periprosthetic joint infection (hip or knee) between 2008-2018
- •2. Treated with surgical debridement, antibiotics and implant retention (DAIR)

- •1. Culture negative periprostetic joint infections (negative intraoperative cultures during DAIR)
- •2. A follow-up of less than 2 years.
