- •Children of age 2-18 years with thalassemia and serum ferritin >= 1500ng/ml
排除标准
- •Children with
- •1. Serum creatinine more than two times the upper limit for age
- •2. Serum aspartate amino transferase and alanine amino transferase more than five times the upper limit for age
- •3. Children with absolute neutrophil count less than 1500/mm3 and platelets less than 1 lakh/mm3
- •4. Significant proteinuria defined by protein creatinine ratio more than 0.5
- •5. Cardiac failure secondary to myocardial iron toxicity
- •6. Previous history of allergic reaction to deferiprone or deferasirox
