Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Isolated unilateral intracapsular femoral neck fractures (AO type 31\-B)
  • •Patients aged 16\-60 years
  • •Patients consenting for the study.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Open fractures
  • •Associated Ipsilateral femoral shaft / Distal femur fracture
  • •Patients with history of material sensitivity
  • •Patients with sepsis
  • •Patients with history of malignant primary or metastatic tumors
  • •Any other history of surgery in the same femur or any history of not mobilising with a normal gait prior to injury
