Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Patients with close intra\-articular fracture distal end radius
  • •2\. Patients above the age of 18 years and above
  • •3\. Patients of either gender
  • •4\. Patients being managed with internal fixation
  • •5\. Patients willing to participate in the study with voluntarily given consent

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Fractures which can be managed conservatively
  • •2\. Fractures which can be managed by K\-wire fixation
  • •3\. Old fractures of the distal end of radius
  • •4\. Patients not willing for surgery
  • •5\. Infections
  • •6\. Mentally\-physically unfit and medical conditions that could pose a life\-threatening surgical or anaesthetic risk
