1. Unilateral heel pain > 6 weeks
2. Has taken conservative treatment with oral analgesics, foot wear modification and physiotherapy modalities for > 4 weeks, with no improvement
3. Not undergone previous local injections in the heel
4. Accepting for further treatment after the study period if pain persists
5. Willing for follow-up
6. Normotensive, Normoglycemic patients
1. Has undergone previous local injections
2. Not willing for follow-up
3. Patients with other systemic illnesses like diabetes mellitus, hypertension, gout etc
4. Local infection in foot
5. history of fracture/pathological conditions of foot
