Inclusion Criteria
1) diagnosed case of glossopharyngeal neuralgia
2) age group 18 to 70 years
3) willingness to participate
4) NRS more than five after administering medical management.
Exclusion Criteria
1) patients with any known allergy to local anaesthetics
2) obesity with BMI, more than 35.
3) neurological or psychiatric disease on current medication
4) local site infection
5) patient refusal
