Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.Patient with both sexes with age between 4\-12 years
- •2\. ASA I and II physical status.
- •3\. Patient undergoing elective minor surgical procedures below umbilicus lasting less than60 minutes.
- •4\. No anticipated difficult airway (Mallampati Grade I or II)
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Patients at risk of aspiration â?? upper GI surgery, gastroesophageal disease, not fasted.
- •2\. Patients with oropharyngeal pathology
- •3\. Patients who require high positive pressure ventilation â?? eg. Pulmonary fibrosis.
- •4\. Patients with cardiovascular, pulmonary and renal disease
- •5\. Hypersensitivity to halogenated anaesthetic agents or propofol.
- •6\. ASA III and IV physical status
- •7\. Difficult airway (Mallampati Grade III or IV)
