Inclusion Criteria
Patients providing informed written consent
Patients belonging to classs ASA 1 And ASA 2
Patients undergoing elective surgeries for chronic calculous diseases of gall bladder and biliary tract with operative duration of 2 to 3 hours
Exclusion Criteria
Patient refusal to participate
Patients belonging to ASA 3 and ASA 4
Patient having known allergy to anaesthetic drugs involved in study
Patients on medications like hypnotics narcotic analgesics or sedatives
Patients having sensory or motor deficit
Patients having hypotension or vascular disease
History of seizure disorder
Presence or History of anticipated difficult airway
