1.Patients diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus attending the Chronic OPD.
2.Age 35 to 65 years.
3.Those who consented to undergo intervention give blood samples and attend regular follow up.
1.Patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus
2.Patients with history of co morbidities like ischemic heart disease, renal disease, stroke, major mental illness, severe neuropathy, severe arthritis or any physical ailment preventing them from brisk walking or moderate exercise.
3.Patients who were pregnant or had planned a pregnancy within study duration.
4.Patients taking medication that may cause rapid glucose rise e.g: steroids, antipsychotics.
