Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Female, aged 45\-55 years;
  • 2\. Western medicine diagnosis meets the diagnostic criteria for generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) (DSM\-5\);
  • 3\. Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA) 14 total partitions: \[14, 28\) is the standard for mild to moderate anxiety disorder;
  • Did not use anxiolytics or psychotropic drugs within 4\.2 weeks;
  • 5\. Did not participate in other clinical trials one month before being included in this study;
  • 6\. Sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Definitely diagnosed as other serious diseases, such as heart failure, tumor, renal failure, etc.;
  • 2\. A clear diagnosis of mental illness in the past, such as schizophrenia, agoraphobia, etc.;
  • 3\. Abuse or dependence on substances (alcohol or drugs) in the past 3 months;
  • 4\. Fear of acupuncture;
  • 5\. Pregnant or breastfeeding.
