Inclusion Criteria
Systemically healthy subjects who had not received periodontal treatment for at least 6 months prior to sampling, subjects aged 14yrs to 55yrs, subjects compliant with terms of study
Exclusion Criteria
Pregnant women, lactating mothers, smokers and subjects on antibiotics and analgesics within three months prior to study
