1)Age > 18years and willing to give consent.
2)Patients suffering from locally advanced cancer or metastatic cancer according to TNM staging II, III, and IV complaining chronic pain according to International Association for Study of Pain classification of Chronic cancer-related pain: ICD-11(REF)
3)Patients suffering from locally advanced cancer or metastatic cancer with cancer pain score 3 or more on the numerical rating scale.
4)Patients are able to give written informed consent.
1) Undergone major operation within 1 month.
2) Had any interventional therapy (eg: nerve block, and neurolytic procedures) for pain.3) Patient who is currently on chemotherapy/radiotherapy or planned for chemotherapy/radiotherapy/ surgery within 7 days of starting of medication for pain.
4) Patient is disoriented, has altered sensorium, or has any psychiatric or neurological illness.
5) Patient taking more or fewer medications than the prescribed dose in subsequent followups
