All adult patients more than 18 yrs giving valid informed consent and scheduled for elective cardiac surgery
a)Patient with any history of pre-existing abnormal rhythm on ECG.
b)Age <18 yrs.
c)Patients with permanent pacemakers
d)Patient Refusal.
e)Patients undergoing emergency cardiac surgery.
f)Patients undergoing complex or combined cardiac surgery. e.g. aortic surgeries, combined valvular and CABG procedures, etc. g) Patients with LVEF <50%.
g)Patients with preexisting renal disease (preoperative raised Serum Creatinine more than 1.2 mg/dl).
h)Anticipated Difficult Airway on preoperative assessment. (Restricted mouth opening less than 3 cm, Mallampatti Grade 3 or more, facial deformities, etc)
