Inclusion Criteria
Singleton pregnancy
Term pregnancy
vertex presentation with anterior occiput position
Residence of Ahvaz
Persian language
Maternal age between 20 - 30 year
Exclusion Criteria
Dystocia
Excessive manipulation of vagina during labour
Maternal systemic disease
Smoking
Third and fourth degree perineal tears

Name Time Method Perineal pain. Timepoint: 1, 7,14 days after childbirth. Method of measurement: VAS Criteria (Visual Analogue Scale).

Name Time Method Healing of Episiotomy site. Timepoint: 1,7 and 14 days after childbirth. Method of measurement: REEDA Scale.
