入选标准

  • The inclusion criteria were as follows: (1) onset of subcortical ischemic or hemorrhage stroke within 1-6 months as verified by medical records or CT/MRI findings, (2) age of 20-79 years, (3) right handedness as evaluated using the Edinburgh Handedness Inventory, (4) mild to moderate impairment of an upper extremity based on the Fugl-Meyer Assessment (FMA), (5) able to understand and follow simple commands as evaluated by the 2002 Thai version of the Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE), (6) able to perform mass extension of finger (score on the hand section of the FMA of at least 1), (7) able to sit independently for more than one hour, (8) normal or corrected hearing and vision, and (9) no motor aphasia, sensory aphasia, or global aphasia.

排除标准

  • (1) contraindication of rTMS, such as seizures or an intracranial metallic implant, as confirmed by a TMS screening questionnaire, (2) other neurological and musculoskeletal problems affecting the arm, hand, or trunk that might interfere with task achievement, such as pain in at least 3 of 5 joints (of the upper extremities) based on the joint pain domain of the FMA (FMA pain score of zero), (3) lesions in other brain areas such as the brainstem or cerebellum or brain damage that was bilateral or of non-vascular etiology such as traumatic brain injury, and (4) receipt of task-specific training during the study period.
