Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Pregnant women between 16\-34 weeks of gestation heamoglobin levels between 7\-9gm/dl
  • •2\.microcytic and hypochromic picture in peripheral smears

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Anemia due to other causes\-heamolytic,thalassemia,sickle cell disease,hypersplenism.
  • •2\.Infection and inflammation.
  • •3\.Liver and renal disease
  • •4\.Early pregnancy.
  • •5\.History of blood transfusion in present pregnancy.
  • •6\.History of allergy to inj.iron sucrose complex or inj.ferric carboxy maltose
