Inclusion Criteria
1.Pregnant women between 16-34 weeks of gestation heamoglobin levels between 7-9gm/dl
2.microcytic and hypochromic picture in peripheral smears
Exclusion Criteria
1.Anemia due to other causes-heamolytic,thalassemia,sickle cell disease,hypersplenism.
2.Infection and inflammation.
3.Liver and renal disease
4.Early pregnancy.
5.History of blood transfusion in present pregnancy.
6.History of allergy to inj.iron sucrose complex or inj.ferric carboxy maltose
