1.Patients of AP with >12 years of age AND
2.Patients with infected peri-pancreatic necrosis (ANC or WON) amenable for EUS guided transluminal drainage
3.Size of infected collection should be more than 10 cm in size with more than 30 % of necrosis as evident on transabdominal ultrasound.
1.Patients with multiple necrotic collections
2.Collection is not amenable for EUS guided drainage
3.Patients moribund to undergo endoscopic procedure (Glasglow coma scale <8 or patients on ventilatory support)
4.Patients with underlying calcific pancreatitis
5.Patients with previous history of intervention (endoscopic/percutaneous/surgical) in the collection prior to screening
6.Patients with irreversible coagulopathy like platelets <50,000/mm3 and/or INR >1.5
7.Pregnant female
