Brief Summary

The present study was undertaken with the objective of evaluating the efficacy and safety of Calcipotriol ointment with Coal tar and salicylic acid ointment in patients with Chronic plaque psoriasis.

Calcipotriol being the   newer modality and coal tar being one of the oldest therapy available.

Very few studies have been done in the indian population for these two medications.

The hypothesis postulated for the study was that Calcipotriol is more efficacious and safe when compared with coal tar and salicylic acid.

Inclusion Criteria

with diagnosis of chronic plaque psoriasis <20% body surface area involvement.

Exclusion Criteria

pregnant and lactating Females Subjects with hepatic and renal disease.
