Inclusion Criteria
Informed consent, presence of intellectual impairment, presence of depressive symptoms, presence of internet access and smartphone, willingness to participate in two anonymous online surveys, willingness to participate in the 4-week self-help smartphone app intervention, willingness to use the self-help smartphone app on their own responsibility, willingness to leave an anonymous email address.
Exclusion Criteria
Acute suicidality (as measured by the GDS-LD and GDS-CS Item 14), current or former presence of bipolar or psychotic illness, or alcohol dependence.
