Inclusion Criteria

  • - at least one symptom suggestive of urinary tract infection , and
  • - fever, and
  • - positive urine nitrate test or
  • - positive leukocyte esterase test

Exclusion Criteria

  • - polycystic kidney disease
  • - end-stage renal failure
  • - renal transplant
